About Erin Woolford
Managing Director, Ninti Kata Consultancy

Ninti Kata Aboriginal Corporation and Ninti Kata Consultancy, is 100 percent Aboriginal Owned and Led
My purpose is to create intergenerational change, through ensuring Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples inherent rights are protected and respected and that this is enshrined in legislation, in my lifetime. In the interim, whilst government's play football with our rights - I am working with Australian business leaders, who are pushing their companies beyond what is legal, to what is ethical - and embedding this into the fabric, so it transcends their leadership.
I founded Ninti Kata in 2020, after a successful career as an executive leader in Aboriginal affairs across various sectors and regions.
With 25 years of experience and multiple awards, I have demonstrated my ability to deliver mutually beneficial and high-quality outcomes for Aboriginal communities, organisations, and stakeholders, using a 'two-world view' that respects and integrates cultural and human rights perspectives.
I have also held various advisory roles, and am currently the Convener of Reconciliation Australia's Voice, Governance and Institutional Integrity RAP Leadership Community of Practice and former member of the National NAIDOC Committee, where I contribute to advancing the recognition and empowerment of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
I am a former Honorary Aboriginal Fellow at the Centre of Aboriginal Economic Policy Research, ANU, IndigiX Global Leader Alumni and Thought Leader on the Mineral Council of Australia’s Reconciliation Committee.
